
Ingredients:
2 cups frozen organic blueberries
2 Tbs water
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
2 Tbs. chia seeds
Method:
1. In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, bring blueberries and water to a gentle boil.
2. Add cinnamon, sea salt, chia seeds and honey (if using) and stir to combine all ingredients together.
3. Turn the heat to medium-low and cover with a tight-fitting lid.
4. Simmer the blueberry mixture until it thickens, about 15 minutes.
5. Remove from heat and cool completely.
6. Transfer to a mason jar or tupperware, cover and refrigerate up to 2 weeks.
