Because everything is more fun with friends, including shopping, I decided to bring one of my best friends along, my wonderful mother. We share more than a year round tan, we have similar tastes, love classics and neutrals but very different body types. She is petite and curvy and I am tall(er) and athletic. We tried on some great styles at Talbots and each style was loved by both of us:
Talbots High Rise Barely Boot: $95. Legs for days!! These were my mom’s favorite by far. She described them as comfortable and well tailored. I also loved the fit, a bit looser (not big) than I usually wear which I am loving these days.
Talbots Girlfriend: $95. Brunch party of 2! These are a great weekend/weekday chill jean. This style was harder for mom to embrace as she is typically more traditional. But she loved the cropped length (and how well they pair with a boot). I love the rise. They sit right at your natural waist, not too low not too high.
Talbots High Waist Jegging Ankle: $95. These were my favorite, oh so comfortable and a great wash. They hug in the right places but without feeling tight. Mom loved the higher rise and slimming leg. She loved them so much they came home with her!
