Whether you are a pool person, beach babe, sun searcher, or general water wanderer (is that a thing? I’m going with it), I have picked out a few favorite swimsuits to pack on your next adventure. My favorite thing about a good swimsuit is how easily it can take you from beach to bar (or pool to poolside) with just a few easy additions.

Solid & Striped Claudia
$148
Crush Boutique
So many great details on this one shoulder suit in cream! Cream is the perfect shade, when bright white is not your thing don’t shy away from the richness of cream. The cutout detailing is equally flattering peeking out of these Elan striped pants ($90, Crush Boutique). If you haven’t tried this brand in swimwear, don’t wait any longer. The fit is incredible and detailing just right.

Tavik Alcamy top $90 & Ali bottoms $74
Anthropologie
You can usually find me throwing a ball, frisbee, or child around on the beach so I love a cute suit that can keep up with my activity level. The deep V neck and wide straps are as comfortable as your favorite tee, The moderate coverage on the bottoms and seamless fabric are perfectly forgettable because lets face it, no one enjoys correcting your swim bottom for the um-teenth time.

Solid & Striped Anne-Marie
$168
Crush Boutique
I could never tire of this print, but while I usually prefer to wear it in accessories I think it is just as fun here. The sweet detailing of eyelet and delicate drawstring in the waist soften up the print for me. But I do also love the high cut hip and low back, this suit is resort and party ready.

Solid & Striped Nina Belted
$168
Crush Boutique
Color me happy, this suit has happy vibes all over it. The leotard silhouette, wide belted (removable) waist, and squiggle fabric (it’s a thing), will have you happy dancing all summer long. I don’t think I have ever worn a more comfortable swimsuit. Paired with this Oliphant collared top ($126, Whitney + Winston) I could wander the streets of any charming town or big city happily.

Seafolly Aralia knot top ($89) & bottom ($84)
Bloom Lingerie
This Australian brand offers a variety of prints, cuts, and styles to fit any beachgoers mood and/or style. I decided to pair these high waisted floral bottoms with the striped knotted top. Slightly mis-matched, but in a soft way. Throw on this Melissa Odabash maxi ($159), which is equally appropriate for a pool coverup or late night date night. It hugs (not tight) in all the right places and the color is that perfect shade of sun kissed tan.

Pat Bo Orchid Off shoulder Bandeau bikini $79.95
Tavik Ali Bottoms $74
Anthropologie
If you are looking for a more deliberate way to mix and match your swimwear, many brands offer a variety of bikini top and bottom styles. This is helpful so you can pick the one that is the most comfortable and flattering for you. I mixed two different brands with colors that compliment each other. Use this tip, for a fun way to add variety to your swim collection without breaking the bank. The sleeves and halter are removable but i love the way they transform the swimsuit to a prefect top with these high waist pleated pants ($29.95, Anthropologie)

Shan Rebeka Rash guard $370
Bloom Lingerie
Who loves to be active and carefree in the sun? Me too, this rash guard is sexy and sunsafe. Full coverage (zip it to the top, or as low as you like) with excellent booty coverage. I love the contrast trim on the zipper and down the sleeve in white and black. The Seafolly boy short ($65, bloom lingerie) is a nice addition if you need to run to town for lunch, groceries or a quick bike ride.

Shan Balnea bandeau $250
Bloom Lingerie
Is there anything more classic than white for summer? This suit is incredibly comfortable, with a low v back and double band for extra support. The only thing I want to cover is my face with this wide brimmed Flora Bella hat ($165, bloom lingerie). But some denim shorts, literally any kind (frayed, drawstring, longline, cuffed) are easy to grab. Even better, grab your favorite denim skirt (white, black, blue, etc) for the most polished look.
